- Pierogi for Peace
Chef Natalie Veisz is hosting a night of pierogi, wine, beer and live Ukranian music in order to raise funds that will go towards supporting Ukraine. Taking place on 04/28, the night will be hosted at Dickson’s Farmstand Meats and restaurant- a newly opened Salumi bar in Chelsea market. 100% of the proceeds will go towards Razom’s Emergency Response in Ukraine.
2. Angélique Kidjo at the Met
Angélique Kidjo, a five-time Grammy Award winner will have a special performance at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The singer-songwriter will be joing by a guitar, percussion, bass and cajon and will perform on 04/25 and 04/26.
The shows are celebrating the 2024 reopening of the Museum’s Michael C. Rockefeller Wing. The galleries, which are currently under construction, are to showcase sub-Saharan work and creative expression. The performance of Angélique Kidjo will be honoring the places of origin, the array of cultures and the authorship of the pieces that are to be shown.

3. Watch Red Flags Comedy Show
A comedy show featuring some of the most prominent NYC names that are making a rise in the world of humour and stand up, the night is guaranteeing laughter and good times. The storyline of the show is playing on the themes of The Bachelor, so expect scenarios that feel close to the heart. Tickets are priced at 15$ and we can't think of a better way to spend them.

4. Sofar Sounds
Sofar Sounds is a music series hosting a mixture of unnanounced artist performing on different instruments and in various genres. Organized by Arlo Hotels and hosted at their various properties, the nights offer a unique experience and an intimate setting. Location is revelead 38 hrs prior the performance and there is a concert taking place every week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night. You can see the full list of events here.
5. Mad About Jewelry
The museum of Arts and Design is hosting its annual benefit sale of contemporary jewelry. Expect diverse designs, created by more than 40 designers- both emerging and established names in the industry. The event is a must-attend for many jewelry aficionados as it's an opportunity to acquire unique pieces by some of the best old and new creators in the field. The evening starts with a reception and shopping at 5pm, followed by dinner and award ceremony at 7.30pm. If you're looking for a new blink-blink, now's your chance!

6. Baylander Steel Beach
An aircraft carrier turned into a floating bar, restaurant and social destination, Baylander Steel Beach is a must-visit spot during the warm spring days. Located at the West Harlem Piers in Upper Manhattan at 125th Street, the floating marvel is created by the owners of Prohibition Lounge on the Upper West Side that took over it in 2017.
The set-up boasts on 4000 square feet, offering amazing seafood menu and nautical-inspired cocktails. No more wondering on where to spend that week night!
